Carmen Ohling

Carmen Ohling spent 16 years building a successful career at JP Morgan Chase. By most measures, she was thriving. Promotions, performance reviews, a team to lead, and a track record that spoke for itself. What she could not name at the time was what was quietly happening underneath all of it.

Multiple layers of burnout. Chronic overwork. And the slow erosion that comes from mastering every system, every task, every process, while never once being taught how to lead. She became a manager the way most people do: because she was excellent at her individual contribution. No one handed her a leadership roadmap.
No one asked about her capacity, her vision, or her well-being.

The result was a career that looked successful from the outside and felt unsustainable from the inside. It was not until she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at age 25 that everything shifted. The diagnosis forced her to stop performing wellness and start actually building it. She redesigned her life and her leadership, and in doing so, discovered what she had been missing: personal and professional development are not separate from performance. They are the foundation of it.

That realization became the entire thesis of The Amplified Life Company. Carmen built ALC to solve the problem she lived firsthand: organizations invest in systems, strategy, and skills, and almost never invest in the leader as a whole human being. The result is a workforce full of high performers promoted into roles they were not prepared for, leading teams they do not know how to inspire, in cultures that reward output over health.

Today, Carmen brings more than 20 years of leadership experience to her work with CEOs and executive teams across North America. She is a keynote speaker, certified holistic life and leadership coach, and founder of one of the most distinctive executive development firms in the country. Her clients include credit union executives, corporate leadership teams, public sector leaders, and service-based organizations who are ready to do the real work.

Her approach is direct, deeply human, and grounded in the belief that the best leaders are not just strategically sharp. They are self-aware, resilient, and genuinely invested in the people they lead. That combination, built intentionally, is what creates organizations where people actually want to show up.

When she is not coaching or on stage, you will find her at home in Miami Beach, courtside at a Miami Heat game,
