If you’re having trouble sleeping at night, use this meditation, called yoga nidra, during the day or having trouble falling asleep try it before bed. I know “yoga” is in the names, but you won’t be doing any moving for this meditation. Yoga nidra is also known as “yogic sleep.” It will reduce your stress and help you feel relaxed and renewed. Whenever I’m overtired or simply feel drained, I practice this meditation and feel restored. You’ll want a comfortable place to lie down, a bed, couch or the floor. Feel free to use a pillow and blanket and make yourself as comfortable as possible. During the meditation you will simply relax deeply and follow the sound of my voice.
