I would like for you to consider these two words:
1. Comfort
2. Convenience
How do they play a role in your everyday life?
When was the last time you allowed yourself to be uncomfortable?
When was the last time you opted for the long way around vs the convenient way?
Here’s what I have found:
1. We all have two options with comfort and convenience: confront it or cater to it.
2. Most of us are catering to it in our lives, which leads us to not keep our commitments to ourselves. Okay, we might keep our commitments once or twice, but then lean right back into our comfort.
3. What’s the big deal here? Comfort and convenience is keeping us from our calling, from reaching our dreams and from living the life we truly desire.
Can you relate with this in your life? In what area are you ready to get uncomfortable? Next week we’ll continue our conversation on how to begin to let go of comfort and convenience, but guess what, it’s going to cost your something!
Yes, you read that right. It will cost you something, but it will be worth it!
Comment “No more comfort” if you’re ready to take the next step!
Lots of love and light,
Carmen
